fault location in power distribution networks using matching algorithm
The Gauss-seidel Fast Affine Projection Algorithm
In this paper we propose a new stable Fast Affine Projection algorithm based on Gauss -Seidel iterations (GSFAP). We investigate its implementation using the logarithmic number system (LNS) and compare it with other two FAP algorithms. A method to simplify its implementation is also proposed. We show that the 32-bit or 20-bit LNS implementation of the GSFAP algorithm is superior to those of oth...
متن کاملA PageRank Algorithm based on Asynchronous Gauss-Seidel Iterations
We address the PageRank problem of associating a relative importance value to all web pages in the Internet so that a search engine can use them to sort which pages to show to the user. This precludes finding the eigenvector associated with a particular eigenvalue of the link matrix constructed from the topology graph of the web. In this paper, we investigate the potential benefits of addressin...
متن کاملA Parallel Gauss-Seidel Algorithm for Sparse Power Systems Matrices
We describe the implementation and performance of an e cient parallel Gauss-Seidel algorithm that has been developed for irregular, sparse matrices from electrical power systems applications. Although, Gauss-Seidel algorithms are inherently sequential, by performing specialized orderings on sparse matrices, it is possible to eliminate much of the data dependencies caused by precedence in the ca...
متن کاملThe Variable Step-Size Gauss-Seidel Pseudo Affine Projection Algorithm
In this paper, a new pseudo affine projection (AP) algorithm based on Gauss-Seidel (GS) iterations is proposed for acoustic echo cancellation (AEC). It is shown that the algorithm is robust against near-end signal variations (including double-talk). Keywords—pseudo affine projection algorithm, acoustic echo cancellation, double-talk.
